Privacy Policy

DramaPing is built to know as little about you as possible. There are no accounts, no logins, no ads, and no tracking across other apps or websites. This policy explains what little we do collect and why.

1. What we collect

• Push notification token. An anonymous identifier issued by Apple to your device. It is the only identifier we use — it is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or Apple ID, and we cannot identify you from it.
• Your in-app activity. The artists you follow, the shows in your watchlist and library, your notification preferences, your Pro status, and the app version. This is stored against your push token so your data syncs and your notifications work.
• Waitlist email (website only). If you join the waitlist on dramaping.com, your email address is used solely to notify you about the launch. You can request removal at any time.

We do not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, browsing history, or any advertising identifiers. We do not use analytics SDKs.

2. How we use it

To deliver the Service: sending you the notifications you signed up for, syncing your follows and watchlist, and enforcing free-tier limits. That's all. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

3. Where it lives

• Supabase hosts our database and backend functions. Your push token and in-app activity are stored there.
• Apple delivers push notifications and processes all purchases. We never see your payment details.
• TMDB supplies show and artist metadata and images. Images load directly from TMDB's servers, which receive standard web request data (such as your IP address) when they serve images. See TMDB's privacy policy.
• FormSubmit relays waitlist form submissions from the website to our support inbox.

4. Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed entirely by Apple. We receive only an anonymous confirmation that your device is entitled to Pro — never your payment information or identity.

5. Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept for as long as your device is registered for notifications. To delete it, email [email protected] from any address and include the request; because data is keyed to an anonymous device token rather than an identity, deleting the app also permanently orphans your data, and tokens that stop responding are periodically purged.

6. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Given our minimal collection, the practical answer to most requests is deletion, which we honor as described above. Contact us and we'll help.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this site.
